Only way to counter that is to win every competition you enter... and see if you can get Man City into and win the lower league cup competitions and Europa League too! Only way to counter that is to win every competition you enter almost got that sorted got the CL and FA Cup finals as the next 2 games after winning the EPL, League cup and community shield. the expenses dont really matter that much, I just get more money pumped in every so often by that nice chairman guy. be a shame if he leaves at all.
