Players you dont want to sell but have to

Who have you guys hated selling in your saves because the player wants a new challange or you need the money? In my current save I sold Javier Mascherano (to raise funds) and Danni Agger (new challange) very reluctantly

Did you get 100% of the mascherano transfer fee received?? Or was some owed to a 3rd party as in 09??

I normally give them an new contract and it fixes it. And I prevent that by putting unavaible on loans, high preset transfer fee like $165million or $333million and reject all offers auto. So it stops other clubs from wanting them. If they get bored, I tend to offer a new contract but sometimes it gets expensive but by then I delayed it long enough to find some quality and much cheaper replacement.

edit: Mascherano I believe you get all. I think been a while since I played LP.

Yeah you do get all of the transfer but due to the amount of loan debt the Americans put the club, only a certain amount of the revenue is made available to spend on other players.
