Questions about Takeovers

How long does it usually take on the game? Some ones i have seen have taken a few weeks.. I have recently promoted Leeds to the Premiership and I wanted a change, So i declared interest in the Liverpool job and they sacked Rafa and gave me the job, But whilst I was at leeds they were in a middle of a takeover.. but 4 months later they still are in the takeover and still have no manager.

Anyone experience this?

On my game Grenoble (who were predicted 2nd), spent the entire season in a board takeover, and as a result got relegated.

Make sure you save the game regularly when this happens. I remember in FM09, after doing really well with Leeds, the club got taken over and I got sacked. In older versions, this is pretty much a "coin toss" so if you reload you are not forced to get sacked again.

Mine started in July 2009 it fell through, the next one started the next day and is still going on in Aug 2010.
