Hardin
It is called Shareholder Dividend and you start paying it back once the club starts making some profit - but seriously I think the cash injections are purely generous gifts from Chairman and not some form of outside loan... Kanukki
AFAIK, cash injections are straight gifts from the owner/chairman, but there are other types of investments you can receive such as loans from owners that only need to start being repaid once the team is out of debt. Probably a few other varieties out there as well, depending on the type of owner and ownership structure, etc.
De Gos
FM09 had a new chairman for Liverpool gave arourd £5m-£10m in cash injections to stop the club going into administration and then he restructured the debt to lower the monthly payments but the debt was extended until 2049. Shareholder dividends are paid to the shareholders of plc clubs at the end of the season it is based normally on the profit the club makes. What you are thinking of is Gift Loans which you only pay back when the club is in the black. Cash injections is just what the chairman pumps into the club out of his own pocket without you needing to give it back.
