Moorzy
Here's how my news bar just looked. Tuesday 9th March AM Arteta resumes full training Mikel Arteta has resumed full training following his damaged cruciate ligament injury. Tuesday 9th March PM Rathbone Physio report on Mikel Arteta Mick Rathbone has indicated that Central Midfielder Mikel Arteta has sustained damaged cruciate ligaments following a robust challenge in training. Rathbone advises that unfortunately the only course of action for a damaged cruciate injury is to see a specialist. It is likely that Mikel Arteta will be out between 7 months and 9 months whilst he is treated. --- Absolutely gutted I am! I think this is pretty unlikely for a team to be flying in at their team mates after a year out of football with a cruciate ligament injury! Has anyone else seen any pathetic injuries like my one? ronaldo_rooney
Could be a recurring injury, making it very likely to happen again, especialy when he has only just/nearly recovered.
Moorzy
Could be a recurring injury, making it very likely to happen again, especialy when he has only just/nearly recovered. Even a matter of HOURS later? Now, Don't think ANY injury in the real world has reoccurred on the same day R.O.F.L
ronaldo_rooney
"Fact is stranger than fiction" springs to mind. Man Utd were willing to pay over £15 million pounds for Van Nistlerooy and HOURS before the transfer he suffers cruciate damage. Tevez scores the equalizer against Utd to keep his team up, then moves to Utd. Leeds Utd in the champions league semi final then a few seasons later they're playing in League 1.... Some players eg. Owen, Neville have suffered an injury in the reserve game/s after recouperating from an injury
