Clemoza
Hey guys n maybe some gals.... Just a quick post instead of searching. I just wanted to know how do you guys get the best out of your youth players? Some people tend to ignore theyre junior stars in hope that they blossom without a hand to feed from... Some people go all out and control the youth teams and tutor every single youngster sending them out on loan and what not... What I want to know is if there is a specific way your youngsters can mature into dazzling superstars or is it the beauty of this game to do it your own way and let fate decide..... How do you guys do it?
NepentheZ
I go mainly off of my Ass Man reports at the start. And just train them right.

tottivillarossi
I tend to focus on the highest rated based on my ass man reports. Then slowly integrate into the first team fold.

tottivillarossi
Does this work for you? Generally, yes. I always like to have a squad of: 2 gks, 7/8 defenders 4 cms 4 wingers, 4 strikers, and then 1 'prospect' in each of those positions.
aston_martin
Generally for me it follows this sort of pattern: 16/17: Tutoring, and reserve matches, maybe a few sub appearances in the cups 18/19: Reserve matches, some more Tutoring if there's any more suitable tutors, League Cup games, weaker ties in other cups and substitute appearances in the league when we're winning comfortably. 20/21: Pretty much a continuation of the 18/19 stage but with a more important role within the first team, so instead of them being a sub who gets brought on in games that are as good as over, they become an actual game winning option, will also start in some weaker league ties and the early FA Cup rounds unless we're up against an opponent of similar standing.
