Wayne\'o Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 From my experiances of FM10 i dont feel any form of defensive mentality works at all. to play defensive would be to sit deep, counter attack, use defensive mentalities. man mark, close down less than normal., play narrow, use direct or long passing.. i find when using these setting's teams open my defence up so easy. may be there are only certain setting's that compliment a defensive mentality..? You need a little creativity/spark to make you a threat so the AI wont just make basecamp in your half. If your so denfensive for 90mins the AI has all that time to make the right pass without ever being afraid of you attacking them.
