TheShamanOfFm
what would run better and longer with the same amount of leagues on my computer.. 1.99ghz 1.48 RAM Football manager 2009 Or Football manager 2010? Thanks
TomWest
In general, Football Manager 10 has been re-developed to be faster than 09 in all comparable cases.
trekman
If you want to use either then I would suggest you invest in more ram especially if you want to run lots (more than 10) of leagues and are using windows vista. Vista is a very memory hungry OS imo.

Just ignore what it says about your system since it doesn't work properly yet.
Wee Aja
Each new version of FM is optimised for better computer performance, so it's a safe bet that (with those specs) FM10 will run much better than FM09.

Don't know about that. FM08 was faster than FM09 for me and I'm not really sure if FM10 is any better than FM09 speed wise.
Wee Aja
Maybe it's an assumption based on personal experience, but FM09 was faster than FM08 for me. Likewise, FM10 is faster than FM09. I'm also sure I've read on here (possibly from a member of SI) that, as I said, each version is designed to be faster.
khriztian
FM10 runs faster on my machine than FM09.
TheShamanOfFm
i would assume Fm 09 would be faster since it requires less RAM
Guest
08 was the worst for sucking up processing power I thought, 2010 seems to be the best for years at running on my pc. Seems very fast even with more than my usual amount of leauges. I like that star system they have added.
