Plymouth Argyle Football Club, also known as 'Argyle' or the 'Pilgrims' where founded as Argyle Fc back in 1886. They play their home games down at Home Farm which is situated in Devon. The stadium itself is quite new and has a capacity of 19,500. The Pilgrims are currently playing in the English second tier - 'The Coca-Cola Championship'. Over recent years the club hasn't been preforming to the standard of which the club is capable of doing, having just survived relegation last season. Luckily for them they didn't and as a result of that they will be able to participate, in what the fans named, 'TheTurnip' - the big derby with local rivals Bristol City. But if the club can push on and gain one of them 3 sacred places into the Premier League, then the big derby against Portsmouth would on the cards. Argyles other main rivials consist of local neighbours Exeter City and Torquay United.
