How does "braced for a low turnout work?"

Here I am 6th in the BSP and 2 points off the playoffs. I have won 3 straight games scoring 8 goals and having a good start to the season - so how does it work that I am getting a low turnout? Is it because I am playing a lowly placed side (22/24)?

Could be. Could also be if the fans/board feel you're doing a poor job.

Are you suddenly getting a low turnout, or has it always been like that? If the latter you just don't have much of a fanbase.

The interesting thing is that I have sold 2,400 season tickets and I got an attendance of just over 2,000 for one match - which of course is fraud IRL, you have to publish the amount of tickets sold for tax purposes which includes non-attending season tickets. I guess the game publishes how many physically attend rather than the tickets sold. My average is over 3,000 for the first dozen or so games. The surprising thing is that IRL we are 6th and are getting home crowds of about 3,500. It had been over 3,000 for all Saturday home games. The other consideration would be the attendances based on last season's BSS which was about 2,750.

It is interesting for me how attendances are calculated in the game.

They certainly don't, you know. The average attendance of my level 10 village team is 30, with as little as 11 turning up for friendlies. I can count far more in the 3D crowd jigging up and down to keep warm. I can only conclude they jump over the fence and get in for free.
