TheGreatOne
What does it mean by Your Assistant Manager [Asst Manager] think we could do a lot more worst than signing [Player] I don't get the language part of this sentence. Any helps would be appreciated.
Charlesbeams
I think it means "He's probably just about good enough" Thats how i see it anyway, i may be wrong.
Tafse
Actually, the line is "[Assistant Manager] thinks we could do a lot worse than signing [Player]", which basically means he thinks it would be a pretty good signing.
samuelburrowsuk
Funny, I had this last night and thought to myself that this was a poor choice of language. It really doesn't convey any kind of opinion other than there are worse players available, which unless you're down in Tier 10, is always going to be the case. At best its all rather ambiguous. Tafse
It is what it is. I agree it's very ambiguous.
