I'm assuming that the OP is playing in England and I've seen some clubs change their pitch dimensions mid season especially when they are playing Arsenal. Arsene Wenger has been really upset by this . If there is no rules preventing this action, and I dont think there is because clubs havent been punished, then I do think that it should be in the game.
