trekman Posted December 23, 2009 Share Posted December 23, 2009 The process is a bit different this year. You can either use steam or if you dont want to then you can just use the disk. The only thing is if you choose not to use steam then your disk has to be in the drive all the time you are playing. One thing to remember though is that if you choose not to use steam then you will have to download and install any patches that become available yourself. Yid Army Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 Also, you get an FM09 style skin if you use Steam, which SI have done a very good job of not letting anyone else have. However, due to a Steam bug, many perople have been forced into a patch they didn't want, and if your 'bad experiance' with 09 had something to do with activation, your best off keeping away from Steam IMHO.
