I built a new computer just about a week ago with one of the most advanced processors available, plus plenty of RAM. When I load up FM and start a new game, if I go above 50K players loaded, then it rates the game performance at half a star, which is pretty ridiculous in my opinion considering the kind of system I have. I actually have close to 150K players loaded with almost every league, and the game processing is quick. So I wouldn't put too much faith (or any at all) into the star ratings.
