Keeping attribute changes from patch and chucking everything else

Is there a way to, when on using a new databse, keep only the new attribute changes but not the other stuff like injuries and changed transfer interests? For example, Demichelis wasn't interested in July (in real life) but on the 10.2 patch, he is - presumably because he was injured early on in the season, before the patch came out. Also, it doesn't make much sense to have December's wishlists for clubs applied during July. If Van Der Vaart was listed for loan early on in the season, as the original game has it, then why with this new patch is he not? The fact that Real Madrid changed their minds months later (if that's what they did) should have no bearing on what happened in the earlier part of the season.
