Ezequiel_Lavezzi
Just curious. My side are semi-pro. I signed everyone to full time contracts, including staff. However after a couple of weeks, we are still semi-pro. Does it have to do with the league I am in? I am Servette, in Switzerland's 2nd tier . headhunter_uni23
You'll probably get the pro status when your team will be promoted in the Super League. I got the pro status when I've been promoted from BSP to the CCL2.

headhunter_uni23
Good luck with Servette, btw what is your attendance, I know they have awful attendances IRL?
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
My last attendance was 4026. The entire division (8 other games) had a total of 4300. So my club is generating 50% of the attendances. I have only signed 1 player and doing fantastic, only using my youth products basically. I am first in the Challenge League (2nd Div)
headhunter_uni23
Managing Servette is a tough one, I managed them in FM07 but gave up because there was a bug with the club reputation in Swiss championship, whatever we were winning it just never changed. Lord Rowell
On FM09, I managed Blyth Spartans, who are in the Blue Square North. They are semi-pro. After 2 promotions and hence reaching League 2, the board declared we had turned professional. So, I guess it depends on the level you're playing at, in the context of that league of course
phnompenhandy
It also helps to give as many players and staff as possibl full-time contracts.

Gentleman
A healthy balance, everyone on full-time contracts and possible promotion - that's what did the trick for me in previous FMs.
