Ezequiel_Lavezzi
I am managing semi-pro side Servette from the Swiss Challenge League. This little player came out of my youth system and instantly is my starting striker at the beginning of the season. He is worth 275,000 and Man United, Bayern Munich, Tottenham and other clubs are trying to poach him via Tribunal. For a 15 year old, I think he might well become a Swiss International and don't want to let him go. I am 400,000 Euro in debt and my entire first team is basically made up of youth team player regens. I admit hes not class, but a very important player for a small club like myself. Has this kind of thing happened to you?
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
I am so happy, he signed on a full time professional contract with me, rejecting the other sides.
Shaka Sangoma
Serious? how many years? he must have an epic loyalty stat.
WestBromwichBrazil
I often find young players don't mind staying at their clubs till they are 20.
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
Signed a 5 year contract and just scored on his debut. (and is now smiling on his profile picture) Hes highly ambitious actually...
ArsenalFan7
Woah he's class, only 15 amazing.
stemlfc
His finishing stat is immense for his age. Hope he stays for many years mate.
hehehemann
He looks good. Especially with his age being so young. Are you playing with patch 10.2? Reason I ask, I am using it and notice tons of 15 year olds starting for their clubs. They look good too.
dking
Looks like a good player. If only that natural fitness stat was better.. Could get a bit of cash for him in the future though.
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
He broke his shoulder, but is my current top scorer. Yeh it is on 10.2 - having a ball at the moment.
Koki
What does that Tribunal-transfer thing mean? Good to see he knows who made him
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
They basically just came in and tried to poach him while under a youth contract. The tribunal then sets a fee for the player. I was about to get 275,000 Euro as Bayern had made an offer via the Tribunal, but he instead opted for a key role in the team, 5,000 Euro sign on fee, a full time contract and 60,000 euro a year contract, making him the highest paid player in my team. So I have him at least till he is 20.
ArsenalFan7
May I just ask what Standard your Youth facilities are? And what season are you in? I may assign a club scout for Servette if you can give me details.
Magnakai Haaskivi
Signed a 5 year contract and just scored on his debut. (and is now smiling on his profile picture) Wait, that happens (the smiling profile picture, not the scoring on his debut)?
Ellis_D
Wait, that happens (the smiling profile picture, not the scoring on his debut)? It sure does! For regens, the face changes with mood. So when they are happy they give you a big smile!
Pob
Make sure you extend his contract every season; keep hold of him as long as you can, even if he gets itchy feet to play for bigger teams!
wardog
Very well held onto, ive never been the best at avoiding pochers myself, FM08 i lost the best regen that would ever be produced in my save to Arsenal just to show how bad i am. Like you however i did get him on a proffessional contract as he didnt break into my team and make hhis name till he was 19. Then when Arsenal bid i was able to hold out for my record transfer fee beating losing Akinfeev on the same journey by £10M he left for £40M but like you hvae said money is money and £40M in the scottish leagues replaced most of my team. Alex Seub
I had a similar regen (not quite as good) come up in a lower league Italian side. I kept rejecting bids but eventually my chairman accepted one. So be warned, that might happen.
