blondiniman68
Hi there. Little bit of a funny here. I bought FM2010 yesterday - bought as in "boxed" version. Installed it on my PC, everything works fine and I'm very impressed so far except for one thing: Everytime it starts up, FM2010 accesses my Internet Explorer. Is this it's not so subtle way of saying I should register the game, and if so, where do I do that? If not, what do I have to change to stop FM2010 from doing that?? It's a minor annoyance but still....

Smikis
maybe you just click on one of 200 advertisings in game.. like advertising boards in match.. click on one and will pop a exporer for you etc.. im sure there are couple of those in main screen.. like that music band, anti racism stuff and all the others.. blondiniman68
I think I've solved the problem. Under 'Preferences' I unclicked "Collect Data". So far, so good. Thanks.
Yid Army
The only adverts are the in-match ones, you you can disable them from bringing you to a website. Infact, it is a rather popular idea and there are people adding more in-match adverts to their game 'for realism'.
