Sports Interactive "Caches"

Don't delete anything in there while the game is open as it may mess with statistics etc (some old bugs like player histories going haywire were apparently down to anti virus software 'sweeping' those folders). I realise that's common sense but you never know who might read this and then decide to flame me for f'ing up their game.

Once you quit the game key stuff like this gets saved to the save file and deleted from the temporary folder automatically as far as I know.

The other folders pretty much do what they say on the tin so if you delete 'settings' all of the preferences (autosave, graphical detail, etc.) will revert to default when loaded up.

No SI next to my name so done at your own risk but I've deleted that whole folder C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010 myself and not had any issues. But unless you are pressed for hard drive space I would just leave it be.
