FM convert.

Having been a long time player and fan of Championship manager I can finally say I'm now a fully fledged fan of FM:thup:.

I have played previous FM's without really developing an appetite for the game, But having received FM2010 earlier this week I can honestly say I love it.

Once its fully skinned,patched,logo's and facepacks its great. My wife reckons its the worst xmas prezzies she's ever brought me as I wont put it down. Loving the realism and difficulty that this game brings to the table.

You do know this is the real championship manager right? FM is just Championship Manager with a new name, the other game is just a poor imitation of Football Manager.

Yes I know, Have a copy off CM4 next to me. I vanished of the face of the earth back in 2004-2005, When I came back to the series I brought "the other game". Foolish I know but still enjoy the odd season with the other game but its far to easy.

congratulations i stopped using championship manager 5 years ago and started using football manager 2005. Although the greatest game has got to be CM01/02

I did. Not having the internet at the time meant I knew nothing of the split. I bought the new CM (2005?), really excited, only to find it was garbage. I nearly cried. I couldn't understand what had happened to my beloved CM. I played it for a couple of weeks and then gave up.

Then I spoke to a mate who told me about the split and said FM was really CM, buy that.

And I have never looked back since, FM pees all over CM.
