Player's fitness (Player naming)

I am currently Southampton on my game, and I signed Rodrigo Possebon on loan from Manchester United. He is playing really well scoring 5 goals in his first 4 matches from midfield.

But my problem is at half time of every match, his condition is normally in the range of about 80%-84%, which is much lower than my other players.

He is a 19 year old lad with a stamina rating of 15, so why does his condition rating go down so low?

Any tips on how to improve this?

is he chasing players down alot ie closing down set to whole pitch or own half. If it is maybe set it to own area. If hes box to box then hes obviously going to get tired alot. Also the state of the pitches will play a part. Whats his natural fitness like?
