Chochip
I don't know if this has been suggested or not, but I would really like to see a goal post/crossbar hit counts in the stats. So it would be easier for us to see if the ball is hitting the woodwork too many times, and also the game can make use of it and implement it into confidence and news items and so on. The news headlines could be like "The gunners frustrated as they hit the woodwork 3 times" or something like that. We all see hitting the post or the crossbar as something really really unlucky so it's a bit puzzling that the media and the board completely ignore this. TheRiddler
Erm...isn't there already a "woodwork" stat in the match stats?
lam
Woodwork stat is in game stats. Its included with items such as longshots, blocked shots, missed shots, shots on target etc etc. I know this because I lost to Man City after hitting the woodwork 3 times in two minutes
Administrators Neil Brock Posted December 16, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 16, 2009 Yes woodwork is already in the match stats. Am closing this thread as the wish has already been granted
