ClarenceZico
Hi guys, ive got a bit bored of fm10 and so have decided to stay away for a bit, however im desperate to get going again but am concious that the new patch is just around the corner. I really want to start a new game, and i know the patch will be save game compatible, but what do you reckon i should do? Will i get the full benefit of the patch if i start a new game pre-patch? Any help would be great. Thanks
gunner86
Unless there are any data updates in the patch (i.e players at the wrong club etc) then yes you'll be fine. I've just started a new save even knowing there's an imminent patch.
FM_Since_Its_Birth
But is there an imminent patch...?? JOKING!! I think it depends how "unplayable" you find the game now. IF its ok then just start a new one - but if it really frustrates you right now i'd maybe wait for the patch in case you end up causing your FM love a bit more damage!! rougess
The patch is unlikely to have major db changes, so start a new save
Brian Shanahan
No the pre-christmas patch (Well I think it's pre-christmas) will not have major data changes, probalby only the changes in ownership (and concurrent money issues), such as Portsmouth and Notts. Co. There may be some free transfer deals gone through during the Autumn, but none to major clubs, and I don't look around enough to see the smaller clubs. Short-term loans as usual wil not be included.
