Big problem for all fm10 managers!

Hi Guys,

I need to know what i would need to make the FM10 match engine smooth (as the makers intended) for Manchester United with a capacity of 76000. I have used the FM10 requirements but they are only minimum. Please help.

You can turn off stadium and facegens. That slows processing down a lot.

Also, are you running a virus checker like McAfee in the background? If you turn it off, this helps boost your processor usage.

You could try googling "game booster" and seeing if that helps. There was a post about it lower down on this forum too, but not sure how effective this is.

the thing is, i want all the tings for 3d me. I want to know what will make it run as it does without all the additions to 3d me in fm10

Minimum requirements doesn't mean you can use the 3D. It's just means you'll be able to run the game with the minimum settings. Turn off the stadiums or buy a new computer.

Turn off the pictures. Other than that, its 3D off, or a jerky game. You could always get a better computer

Update all your drivers manually, go to the relevant manufacturers, Microsoft can be bad for this as they don't always receive new drivers, and they don't trawl for new ones. But your biggest problem is going to be your computer specs, as they are only set up for the minimum.

On game booster I used it for a while but don't any more as it doesn't give a big enough hand to be excluding other programmes I use. On FM09 it used to speed up my game by at least 1/3 so it was essential for me then.
