Downloaded it for speeding up football manager but is it any good?

Ive heard mixed stories about it, for that reason i wont touch it.

I use this if it makes a difference it's not enough to be noticeable in my opinion!!

This is like amd fusion. Only I think that fusion is much better. I think that this will make a difference only if you have a small amount of ram and are running lots of stuff in background.

Is this suppose to speed up the processing in football manager?

I've just tried it. It seems really good. No problem it shuts down everything you don't need with one click and with the same one brings everything back almost instantly. You can choose what to close yourself. Seem very good but like I said you can use this only if you have very limited resources.

I don't think it does anything to your cpu clock. It is only killing all the background processes so ur cpu has all its cash for fm.

Try it out and you'll see. It shuts down win. explorer, don't let that scare you. It'll get back again no prob.

I may have to give it a whirl, seems a nice little gadget to have when things are running slowly.

nope its not bad. SI just cant say yes its fine to use it just incase something happens which could make them liable

i use it and it works great, really speeds up my game, i use it when playing all games.

All it does is close down unnecessary processes in windows for those who don;t knnow how to tweak already.

Won't make any difference to a well configured set up tho.

I always use it when playing FM and its caused no issues for me.

The game speed doesnt seem that much quicker to be honest but it stops my laptop overheating and shutting down so it gets a from me.

I always used it on my lo spec machine on FM08 and it worked fine.

I believe the biggest difference with GB is for systems with limited ram...the more you have, the less of a difference you'll notice.

I have Vista 2GB ram and use GB. Dont notice much but I'm hoping it will keep the game from crashing

game booster has made fm 10 faster for me its great

Been using it for months now, works fine with FM.

If your computer actualy needs a program to shut down background processes in order to run something like FM faster (or at all) then a more pressing need would be for you to upgrade your machines and or stop installing and running so many pointless programs that take up memory.

I have it on my computer, it doesn't really make much of a difference on FM. It actually felt slower with Game Booster than without it lol. Experiences may vary though.
