vincenzo incendio
This has probably been mentioned before, and it's completely unnecessary really, but I play all my matches in the classic 2D format and I really want to see little virtual managers stalking the sidelines during the match. Request over. Commence making fun of me.
GazTheDoood
Nah dude, no making fun, I agree completely. Totally cosmetic, but worth putting in IMO.
wardog
i agree again. I would love this, also id like to be at the dugout side please SI so i can really be the manager and not a fan lol.
vincenzo incendio
I figured there must be others out there. I figure it cant be too hard to add to the 2D engine.
Death.
Next step: 1st person 3D camera view.
Gandy
Then they might be able to add a manager view, but that's probably too far.
djibril'sbird
i'd love to see little staff dots down on the field as well. it'd be a nice little addition to the 2d match engine i also primarily watch.
phnompenhandy
Next step: 1st person 3D camera view. It's kinda there in the 3D view. Yer man is in his teccie box, and the new 'touchline view' is from his eyes. It's the one I used by default - not because it gives the best view, but because of the realism. Golden Wanderer
But touchline view scrolls along with the play! Not sure the manager would be running up and down the stand.
spankie
Only if we can chose what he does on the touchline. Is he type of manager who sits calmly in the dugout and only sometimes comes into the technical area, or his he the type who jumps up and down on the touchline if the ref gives a throw in to the wrong team? acidmonkey
id love a little me stood in the dugout (but it would involve picking skin colour etc. when creating a game) and ideally a camera view that is from there static and looking out
DannyT
Also options for chewing gum, not shaking hands and stupid hats

Danny Dire
Yes would be a cool feature. Would be great to see him running down the line Mourino Style if you score a really important goal.
Super Bladesman
I have to agree - I'd love to see this Especially if you could determine whether the manager was wearing a suit/sheepskin/tracksuit etc
Ellis_D
Funny this is, my team won a penalty shootout last night and all the players came running on the pitch and I thought 'If I was manager in RL I would be on there with them'. Then I thought we should have a manager on the bench. I like the idea of choosing which type of manager you would be before you start a game aswell, including what he would wear. This is something FM could learn from This Is Football!

Elrithral
but I play all my matches in the classic 2D format and I really want to see little virtual managers stalking the sidelines during the match. Oh how I longed for a little manager dot running along the sideline to join my celebrating players when they won the CL final on penalties SIOSI
