VastGsm
Hi there, I have an Acer Asper One D150b. I have Windows 7 Premium installed, I have upgraded the NetBook to the maximum capacity of 2GB Crucial Ram and upgraded the Hard Disk Drive to 500GB SATA 5,400rpm and it has a Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz CPU. I purchased the FootBall Manager 2010 game from my local football club Bromley FC store for just £15 which was a bargain! I connected up my USB DVD drive and installed the game flawlessly. I understand that minimum system requirements are PC OS: Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 Processor: 1.4GHZ+ for XP or 2.0GHZ+ for Vista / Windows 7 Memory: 512MB Ram for XP or 1GB Ram for Vista / Windows 7 Video Card: 128MB of memory. NVidia FX 5900 Ultra or better; ATI Radeon 9800 or better; Intel 82915G/82910GL or better. The thing is this.... Windows 7 uses LESS memory and CPU and PageFile than Windows XP and Vista!! I also have Adobe CS4 Master Collection installed on my NetBook despite the fact it requires 2GHz or faste to run yet my NetBook is only 1.66GHz and has 2GB Ram and it works just fine. Here is what Adobe CS4 Master Collection system requirements are. Windows * 2GHz or faster processor for DV; 3.4GHz for HDV; dual 2.8GHz for HD* * Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended) or Windows Vista® Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise with Service Pack 1 (certified for 32-bit Windows XP and Windows Vista†) * 2GB of RAM (more RAM recommended when running multiple components) * 24.3GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on flash-based storage devices) * 1,280x900 display with OpenGL 2.0–compatible graphics card * Some GPU-accelerated features require graphics support for Shader Model 3.0 * Dedicated 7200 RPM hard drive for DV and HDV editing; striped disk array storage (RAID 0) for HD; SCSI disk subsystem preferred * For SD/HD workflows, an Adobe-certified card for capture and export to tape * OHCI-compatible IEEE 1394 port for DV and HDV capture, export to tape, and transmit to DV device * DVD-ROM drive (DVD+-R burner required for DVD creation) * Blu-ray burner required for Blu-ray disc creation * Microsoft Windows Driver Model– or ASIO-compatible sound card * QuickTime 7.4.5 software required for QuickTime and multimedia features * Broadband Internet connection required for online services‡ So as you can see Adobe CS4 Master Collection does NOT even qualify to meet the minimum system requirements yet it installed fine and works without any problems. I noticed that there are two .dll files in FM2010 IntelLaptopGamingVista.dll IntelLaptopGamingXP.dll All we need is a Windows 7 dll file and we should be set. I have looked at this thread but it still don't help. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=162915 Any ideas please?? Cheers,
