Player searching

Just a quick question...

How do you all search for players in the player search screen, for me i filter....

Posistion

value is at most

attributes for the posistion i'm looking to fill

and un-tick players that are not interested

How does everyone else do it?

Scouts, I can rarely be bothered to manually search for players unless I really need to.

That must take a while doing it that way??? Especially when say you have just started a game and dont have long before the season starts and transfer window ends?

I must have been doing it wrong all this time then? I always search for players my op way then get scouts to have a look at what i find.

I have search filters set up for each position (GK, full backs, centre backs, wide MF etc) and will use these to do an initial search, I then tend to tweak the filters to reduce the numbers of players down if too many come up initially, and then once I narrow it down to 20 or so players I'll scout them. So same as the OP really.

I also have any players that come up as highly recommended by my scouts on a shortlist but I tend to go more by attributes than by scout reports when actually signing someone - the exception being very young players, if the scouts rate them highly enough and they aren't too expensive I'll just sign em anyway.

wahey thanks coen so there is actually someone else like me out there, was begining to think i was going mental and doing it all the wrong way.

I search by age (wont sign anyone older than 31 unless theyre a real gem), Position, language, EU Nationality (I only go for non eu players if I already have a suitable feeder club in place).
