3000Something Posted December 5, 2009 Share Posted December 5, 2009 It seems to me that the game will flag for offside whenever any player is in an offside position, not just the ones that are active. For instance my right winger was in an offside position, but the play was all the way over on the other side of the pitch when my central midfielder played a through ball to my left winger, who was onside, yet the assistant still flagged for offside. Another thing that happens is that the assistants don't wait for a player to become active, for instance if one of my forwards is offside, yet he tries to let the ball go through without playing it to let someone else who was onside come for the ball. That one is usually more of a judgment call in real life, but most of the time the ref will let play go on. Are any of you guys seeing this happen as well?
