kimjjj
I have a South African and an American player in my squad who for some reason aren't considered foreigners. They don't have dual citizinship. What am I missing? Thanks.
Quackje
Where are you playing, there are many other rules besides being from a country within the eu, something that I have moaned about for a couple of years on here as they are not mentioned in league rules. kimjjj
I play in the Danish league where no more than three non-EU players can be used. But I can field my two Brazilians, my Uruguayan, my South African, and my American player no problem. None of them are dual citizens.
Quackje
Could be the same as the thing in spain where there is an agreement that North American, African and Oceanian players don't count as foreign.

Quackje
It was following the Cotonou agreement that they brought it in, these extra rules are totally not mentioned by the "non-eu" tag used in fm but are in the game. Just like you are allowed players from turkic nations in Turkey that don't count as foreign and Switzerland/Norway/Iceland/etc are not in the EU but it says they are. Swindon69
Switzerland/Norway/Iceland are EFTA members who have a legal agreement with the EU regarding employment.
