waruna
Good day everyone! How's your team today? Just a straight forward question, I'm curious regarding long-term injured player options. Why bother to have two ways of treatment? (Send to Specialist or Leave to Physio)?. Because for me, obviously, leave to specialist is faster than the other one right? :D
shrekiejai
I always wondered that too. I always send home for flu and always send to specialist when available. Is there any disadvantage of sending to specialist? I'm guessing financial if any, but if you are at a major club, you won't notice.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted December 4, 2009 Administrators Share Posted December 4, 2009 You should get charged extra for sending to a specialist - ideally it'd say the financial amount in the news item - it's something we're looking into. Thanks.

Not suitable for clubs with financial problem
Kill Rock Stars
i've always thought that for certain injuries seeing a specialist should increase the amount of time that a player is out for, while decreasing the chance that the injury would re-occur
trekman
Neil is right. It comes down to finances. If I am managing a small\medium club then I just let the physio deal with it and live with the fact that the player will be out for a long time. If its a club with plenty of cash then send to specialist is always the best option.
Elmo
I always put it down to recurrances, and a specialist lower the chances of that.
Sarmatian
I think another option should be added - Send to Serbia for horse placenta treatment
