JiggyDempsey
Dunno about naming or screenshots but I've spotted a Rangy Striker. Never heard of such a description of a player, anyone else??
Vic Taylor
Maybe a player who shoots from distance?

BamaToon
I figured tall player who's good in the air. Sounds like it from those stats.
lcutty
I think that is a description for players like Peter Crouch, he's the only rangy striker i've seen. What is the height of your player?
Vic Taylor
Long Shots - 11 I doubt he's a long range striker then. 11 is quite good, but I doubt the game would give him the nickname of 'rangy striker' for it.
JiggyDempsey
Here's a screenshot that I think is acceptable He's 6' 6" Still a strange description!
Hershie
I think it's used to describe essentially targetmen who can also score goals and have good technical skills when needed. Chamakh, Crouch...
JiggyDempsey
Just that I never heard of that description, Crouch and Chamakh too, interesting (player naming allowed?) Killie signed him on a free transfer, I reckon he's going to be a pain in the ass for my defenders!
Matt ex SEGA
I'd never seen this before either. However - Dictionary.com says.... 1. (of animals or people) slender and long-limbed. 2. given to or fitted for ranging or moving about, as animals. I believe you could probably either claim that it was a very tall slim player or a very mobile player - as this lad is 6'6" I'd guess SI use it as a description of a big lad, Crouch-style... Nice find...

Nice find... Exactly, it is just a nicer way of saying lanky but nimble (e.g. Crouch). I found one the other day - a 6'11" rangy striker!
trekman
Dunno about naming or screenshots but I've spotted a Rangy Striker. I just read that quickly while watching the telly and thought that it said 'Randy Striker'!
