Mentou
Hello everybody, I just want to know if there are other "almost unlimited budget" clubs like Notts County or Manchester City, or very very rich clubs ?? Not just in England, but everywhere ... Thanks
Mentou
An answer please ?????
trekman
The biggest Spanish\Italian clubs should be pretty wealthy i would have thought. If you want a club to have finances like Man City then you could always use the editor or an edt file to give them a sugar daddy. You'll get more information about this in the editors hideaway. Mentou
Ok but i don't want to cheat. I just wanted to know if there were clubs like Notts County where the chairman give extra money every 3 months for example ... A club where there is a very generous chairman ?! Tommy \'the red\' Howard
Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine had a huge budget on previous versions, don't know if they do on 10 though.
teej9
bunyodkor in Uzbekistan has a monster budget for the league. It's something like 12 million. You have to download the league though.
encore69
you will find the likes of man city are given budgets of about 150m a season, but if the clubs balance falls in the red then the chairman will pump some money in but not for transfers
Brian Shanahan
Hoffenheim were like that in 09 if IRC, as the chairman is an internet billionaire. Don't know if that is kept.
DirtyACE
Hoffenheim were like that in 09 if IRC, as the chairman is an internet billionaire. Don't know if that is kept. Nope, not anymore. I've been managing them and for example you get only 2.7 million if you tell the board that you'll qualify for Europe. And their chairman is not quite an internet billionaire. He's actually the founder (or co-founder) of a software company called SAP, which is the largest in Europe. At least that is what I've read.
Wonky
What about teams like Saudi Professional League champions, Al-Ittihad? They apparently offered a very lucrative contract to Figo a few years ago. They are likely to be funded by hugely wealthy people. FC Bunyodkor - They are managed by Luiz Felipe Scolari and have Rivaldo playing for them, on a $14m 2 year contract!
DirtyACE
As someone above mentioned, Shakhtar is just oozing with money. In my game, in the first season, they bought Felipe Melo, Hulk, Salomon Kalou, Igor Akinfeev, Diego Renan, and a few other highly rated players. It's as if their AI manager knows that he's playing FM
joemaddog
What about QPR, they have rich owners, i think that blackpool do as well.
Hershie
Southampton have an underwriter iirc, similar to Chelsea's current setup. ie they won't be given a huge amount to spend, but if the club gets into any financial trouble, the owner will pump money into the club. Geordieboy52
Spanish teams get ridiculous amounts in TV money, so for the 1st season you may not have much but bigger clubs will get an injection of around £60m from TV alone in the close season. Mentou
Thank you for your answers ... I've watched in the editor and i found something interresting : There are different kinds of "Sugar Daddy" : FRONT_END - They throw money at the club to spend. (=> Only Man City and Notts County) BACK_END - They spend enough to make them a force in their current league but if they go up a level or two it would no longer apply. (=> Huddersfield, Peterborough, Goztepe, Dundee and Southampton) UNDERWRITER - They don't give the manager any extra transfer budget but come the end of the season they will always cover any loss the club is making and not expect the money back. (=> Almost ten clubs, but not big one ...)
jackripper
FC Bunyodkor offered something ridiculous to loan Eto for 3 games aswell not sure what the price was but it was ridiculous

Ellis_D
where do you edit the file for adding a sugar daddy? You can do it in the FM editor mate. Just go to a club, and you will find the 'sugar daddy' option.

sandhams
Looks like Notts County are not so wealthy now, having got a new owner. I read in the papers that they will have to sell players in January.
SOYNEGRO
This is reflected on the new patch? Or they will remain as sugar daddy.
