touchline instructions

ok these are starting to annoy me now. How come they take ages to take effect. one match i was playing against spurs {i'm Wolves) i was 3-0 up. they pulled a goal back in the 58th minute so i decided to use the touchline instructions and told them to retain possession it came up retain possession(pending) in the 58th minute it came to 89 minutes and it still read retain possession(pending)

I think it's a known issue (don't quote me on that though) but i 100% agree that the touchline shouts need working on as ive had the "pending" on the odd occasion,were as sometimes it makes tactical changes straight away.

Try pausing the game, and then picking the shouts you want to use, before re-starting. That way, you wont skip past any breaks in play, and they'll come into force quicker

I actually had one where I made the call around the same time as the OP, the game ended before it took effect.

Yet another thing not picked up in testing?

It's just a UI bug. The 'pending' stays for a few seconds when you next access them. However, the shouts will be active. It's nothing to worry about.
