Morale - Again

Am I the only person who thinks morale in this game (FM10) needs some serious attention?

Two or three defeats can absolutely trash morale, regardless of the opposition (ie losing a cup game to a club a division or more above you - and 'No Pressure' does not necessarily cover the problem). Once morale is in the pits (ie mostly poor and okay) it is next to impossible to beat anyone except a complete whipping boy.

Within matches a 'Mistake leading to a goal' knocks off 1.5 from a player's rating and is almost never recovered, regardless of the result (ie they need to score at least 1 to make up for it) and yet the way these mistakes are assigned is completely arbitrary and often isn't discernable to a viewer.

In short, there seems to be a million ways to lose morale, but so few to rebuild it (yes, I know about praising players - how do you do that when everyone is averaging 6.50? - and offering contracts - not always possible on a budget) and this makes death spirals inevitable.

Thoughts appreciated.

I agree, the team is very vulnerable to mood swings now.
