BamBamBam
In Season 2017 and i've noticed alot of new players have the weakness Intelligence when scouted. What does that mean? And why are there so many "thicko's"?
Insert_Goal_Here
Because they're footballers! You'll have to expand on what you're talking about. Every player you've scouted has low intelligence?
toolongawake
low intelligence on the field, i've noticed it when scouting teenagers, have simply put it down to their inexperience
BamBamBam
No but alot. I'd say a good 30% of young players have intelligence as a weakness.
whilewolf2
I think it refers to the Attributes Decisions, off the ball, positioning, anticipation and maybe some more if the total value of these attributes is below a certain value scouts notes the players lack of intelligence. Negatrev
I think it refers to the Attributes Decisions, off the ball, positioning, anticipation and maybe some more if the total value of these attributes is below a certain value scouts notes the players lack of intelligence. From the regens I've seen, it seems vital to make sure you have a top tactics coach to increase ailing stats like off-the-ball and positioning. crouchaldinho
Surely it's just because they are young and still learning the game? Their mental attributes will develop with match experience and age. C.
Elmo
It just means no more Bergkamps etc.
TOPBUZZ92
The regens are broke...long term games are broke....total mess
Lordarod
use FMRTE and give large potential to some regens if you think the system is broken. I think it's broken too.
DeathSpawn
The regens are broke...long term games are broke....total mess exactly what this guy said... off the ball, positioning and decisions stats start waaaaaaaaay to low on regens... i'm having trouble getting regens with more then 5 points on decision which is just ridiculous because that will hardly make it go to 10 points after years of training. Ty
I think regens real weakness is Marking, and have said it at the beginning. It is rare to see a regen with awesome marking, but have 16 tackling and 19 heading, but then with 9 marking
CowSimao
There needs to be some exceptions in regens. That way you'd see some players like Fabregas or Moutinho who are naturally very smart players. If we pretend they were a regen, let's say they would start at 14 decisions, then at their peak could have around 18+ depending on training.
Ezequiel_Lavezzi
That is expected. In real life the average player plays more with their body than with their mind compared to 20-30 years ago.
