Lack of Memory Problem

Hi, just wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem I am currently having.

Although I am only a few weeks into a season I keep receiving the error message stating that Football Manager 2010 needs to quit as it has run low on memory. It then shuts down the game and goes back to my desktop. Can anyone please help???? Thanks.

You've probably run out of RAM. Try and by some more. You can by 1gb more for around £15.

go to start, search dxdiag. Press save all information then paste it all in this thread.

Its a problem within the game as it appears that there's a memory leak somewhere in the game and SI are trying to find the cause of the problem and also a solution as this has been spoken about in other threads

press ctrl alt and delete then open task manager it shoudl state how much ram is being used

Press start then run and in the box type msconfig then click on startup and tell us what is says about what is being started at the same time as your operating system. You can probably stop a lot of this and it should help with the memory problems.

Click on advanced and look at virtual memory and report back with what it says and you should get better advice about changing this if necessary.

Finally you could try downloading something called game booster from http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

This is a free program that will stop all the stuff that you have running on your system in the background that you dont really need running for your computer to work successfully.

My computer states that 4393MB

is the total paging size for all drives in the virtual memory if this is of any assistance??

is the total paging size for all drives in the virtual memory if this is of any assistance??

Its better than mine. Mine only says 3327mb. Did you try gamebooster? I use it and find it really helpful for stopping unneeded processes and programs. After looking at your dxdiag I think your graphics card drivers are out of date. Look at this site http://www.pcpitstop.com/drivers/download/NVIDIA~GeForce~9600M~GS.html and try the drivers there.
