MSCCG Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 Think I've only conceded from one corner so far this season. Have you covered all your bases? I.e. Marking tall players, have players stand on both posts, etc. Remember that having some quick players stay forward mean that the other team has to keep players back to mark them, that is a form of defense. Are you conceding goals from corners by header straight from the cross, scrappy kick into the goal from close range or a long shot from outside the area? Deffinately not a ME problem. I rarely conceed from corners at higher level or lower level teams. I use - -Def corner setting: 2 wingbacks:mark small 2 centre def:mark tall midfielder+1 striker:man mark 2 winger:stand on near+far post 1 strikers:close down corner I cant take the credit for this, but i have used it in all my games at all levels and it has helped me alot.
