Why O Why?

I know many people have already given possible solutions to this problem.

But its so frustrating. Why cant me and my friends play a network game. We both have the new patch. One selects run as server, the other does not. My attempt to join the network game using the second of the two address and it comes up with the message "unable to connect". Is anyone else having the same problem that still wont fix with everybodys solutions.

have you enabled port forwarding on your router?

May need to do port forwarding on the router.

would we both have to do this?

and how do you to this? i have a bt homehub if that helps

only the person hosting the game needs to do this so if your hosting the game you need to login to your homehub and forwad these ports TCP Ports 0093, 10094 and UDP Ports 10093, 10094

try using hamachi. its free to download and easy to use. me and my friends use it all the time. PM me if your struggling using it.
