Help with an error Application Load Error P:0000065434

Double clicked FM to run it via stream. Got this - Application Load Error P:0000065434

I found this on the stream forum

This is a Vista problem with permissions in the program files folder. There's a fix in the mean time though.

Go to Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Shaun White Snowboarding (that's from memory, so if I missed a letter, sorry, but you get the idea)

Rename ShaunWhiteSnowboarding.exe to ShaunWhiteSnowboardingLauncher.exe

Rename ShaunWhiteSnowboardingUpdater.exe and name it ShaunWhiteSnowboarding.exe

Then run from steam and it will bypass the launcher and go straight into the game. If you need to change settings, you can manually run the launcher, but it won't launch the game afterwards. Hope that helps.

There is no updater.exe file?

Doesn't work with CD inside either!

I've just got this error message as well. By loading Steam and running the game through there, rather than via a shortcut, I got the game to load.

Just a little tip if your fed up of playing via steam,install the patch manually and it'll let you play the game without steam running.

EDIT. You need to have the disc in the tray though,then it acts like a boxed copy.
