ollie laaaaaaaad
Hi whenever I load up fm my computer goes besserk and my fan goes out of controll. It's so loud it is keeping people awake which means less fm time . My computer is fine until I load fm. Is this due to playing it through steam, therefore my hardrive having to work harder ? If I install via disk will this stop. Btw I use a game booster sometimes but it's the result
Kyno
My fan also gets angry when I load it up, calms down pretty quickly though, so not sure what to suggest.

lurkingwithintent
Is it an old PC? Could be loads of dust blocking the air vents.
ollie laaaaaaaad
It will be 2 years old at Christmas
lurkingwithintent
Might be worth taking the side off and just seeing if you can get rid of some of the dust. Also, could you let us know the specs? How much Ram, what processor, etc?
ollie laaaaaaaad
Will do tomorrow if that's ok. And yeh I'll take the side of and clear the dust tomorrow
Vic Taylor
Yeah, it's the dust. I had the same problem with a few of my games actually. I cleaned out all the dust by vacuming inside the body of my computer. I suggest you're extremely careful if you follow this route though.
Jamie543
clean the Heatsink for the processor might also be worth getting a can of compressed air and giving the case a blow out
