My most expensive signing was Gignac at £15.5m Defour - £12.75m Azpilicueta - £6m Van der Vaart - £8.5m Di Maria - £5.25m Buonanotte - £6.25m Ochoa - £8.8m Sandro - £10m Diego Renan - £8.5m You need to look for players that are known, but not well established with high reputations, its the reputations and the clubs wanting to keep their best players that send prices sky high to the likes that you've suggested. Kyno Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 I'm at the end of 2016, and despite having a budget of £30m+ for most seasons have only had to break the £20m mark twice, which were both world class players, so to be expected. You just have to look around, there are plenty of top class players available for less than £20m.
