tcoleman1 Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 Thinking about getting a new laptop for Christmas. Mainly for FM but also need another due to general wear and tear. FM is painfully slow on my current laptop and I can't get into games because of it. My only question is, does FM benefit from having a decent graphics card? Or is it not that important? The few laptops I have been looking at have built in Intel (or similar) graphics sets. One has an NVIDIA graphics card. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
lawsie Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 not really, although for watching 3d matches you will need a semi decent mid range card, nothing special for this game. built in graphics cards should be avoided though unless your using it for just purely internet browsing. If any and i do mean any sort of games are to be played then stay away from them. They tend to not have dedicated RAM and use your main RAM, so if you have 2GB of ram you can bet your graphics card will take up a major chunk of it when in use.
