The "It could be you... Who's Crap!" Sign-up - Restarted.

Introduction

Welcome to a sign up game - with a twist! Cliched start, I know, but here’s the deal - the basic idea of a lot of sign ups is that you create a footballing starlet who is entered into the database with a really high PA, and follow his career as he develops into a world-renowned superstar. But what would happen if we introduced a bit of chance into the proceedings? A kind of footballing genetics lottery, if you will?

The basic premise of this sign up is that your player will not necessarily end up as a footballing god. All players will be assigned the same CA - but a randomly generated PA. Your player may be the best player in the history of Real Madrid - or he might be a footnote in the history of Rochdale.

Follow your players unpredictable career and find out if they will be winning the Champions League with the likes of Real Madrid, or scraping clear of relegation in the Russian First Division. Who know's where your player will end up, and remember, It could be you... Who's Crap!

ridleys, I've been in your position, and the only way i found to fix it was the following:

- Put saved games you play and like into a folder in your documents, or anywhere but not in your Sports Interactive folder.

- Also, put any updated versions, (8.01, 8.02) in a safe folder so you can update FM08 with them again.

- Then uninstall FM08

- Delete your Sports interactive folder

- reinstall FM08, then put saved games into the Sports Interactive 'games' folder.

- then update the game with the patches.

Hope that works, worked perfectly for me.

Was going to do a transfer update last night but there wasn't any transfers so I ended up having to holiday an extra few months and I feel asleep
