Keeping hold of your best players

does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep your best players e.g. im playing as tottenam, finished 4th and qualifyed for the champ lge. but modric and lennon want to leave? any suggestions on how to keep them?

Well unfortunately you can't keep them. If they are still under long term contracts you could keep them as an unhappy player and hope that one day they will change back to "willing to stay at the club". If that happens sign them long term but the reality is that the process is likely to go on forever, and their form will likely be affected it so it just best to try and position yourself to get the most cash for them. Drum up lots of interest by saying you will listen to offers and when you reject an offer choose the option that the offer was not good enough rather than just hit reject.

If they are not in long term deals....then you are pretty much at the mercy of the player and you ight have to sell at a reduced rate to avoid losing them for nothing.
