Editor and patch

I cannot find the editor anywhere in 2010? Have I installed something wrong? Searched every folder? Is it because I didn't install the Steam version initially? HELP!!!!!! Also when I download the new patch what software opens it?? HELP AGAIN!!!!

Where can I find the Data Editor or Resource Archiver?

If installed using the Offline activation method the game editor can be found at:

Computer > Local Disk (C: > All Programs > Sports Interactive > Football Manager 2010 > Tools

If installed using the STEAM activation method the game editor can be found at:

Computer > Local Disk (C > Program Files > Steam > steamapps > common > football manager 2010 > tools

From the FAQ

If the patch doesn't open, rename it and add .exe onto the end of the filename. Should run then.
