Once you've loaded up the database, just have a look around for a while to familiarise yourself with how it all works. If you installed the game via steam, then you'll find the editor by following the path I've given you there in my first post. Otherwise go where SCIAG said. You don't find the editor in Steam (when you load that up), it's bizarrely packed away in the depths of your PC's hard drive and you have to click about 10 different options to get there.
