The_Damaja
Does this actually do anything? i just use it for comedy value personally for example: 'I am looking to play an open, free flowing attacking game' before adding 'and get my willy out if we're losing'
BigRoboCrouch
They are only funny when you are playing online games.
The_Damaja
is that its main purpose? thats the only time i use it but was wondering if there was any significance of it in single player?
trekman
You generally get a negative reaction to them from the board if you use them to swear at the press! Sadly this is something I find myself doing quite a bit. However it is funny I think.
The_Damaja
I might try that, or will i be sacked?

gunner86
I think its for fun purposes only as there is no recognition for a lot of the stuff you type in.
Ty
Network games, it comes up on your mates screen. And normally after I have said something funny, my mate will speak to me on MSN laughing about it!
Amaroq
Hmm .. I've actually used them as a "note" to myself as to why I was making a specific comment. I do that only when I'm making a "non-standard" answer, one that my players might react negatively to. That way, I can look back and see why I said what I said and judge if the players "recognized" that situation or not; if they don't, then I won't use that logic anymore. themodelcitizen
Funnny when you swear (usually in a network game) and the news report says something like "before launching into a string of expletives, adding:"
Reddogg99
In FM09, I always said Pep Guardiola had no b***s, etc. Never got any responses, but it did seem as though it killed his confidence. I beat Barca 8-1 with Real and he was fired the next day. Very funny. I like to think it had something to do with my comments, but was probably tactics and players.
