The Board must like long balls

So after the first season as Notts Co My pitch was is pretty bad shape so I asked the board to relay the pitch, but they saw no reason to do this.

After a nice sunny summer the pitch had gone up to ok status at the start of season. But I can still see mud around the pitch. So by january it will look like a gravel pitch.

I had lots of money, so I don't understand why they didn't want to relay the pitch. Any idea how I can get them to go for it? I like to play a short passing game so I need a good surface to play on.

ask them at the end of the season just did this before i got into the championship and they done it although my pitch is at ok status with 70 days till the end of the season

I asked them just after the season. Well early june so the season had not rolled over sort of speak.
For other teams I always done it at that time and they have done it unless the club was broke. But not the Notts Co board.
Oh the other teams was on FM09 though.

I am annoyed with this. Breezed through Unibond North as the shaymen, but aa bad pitch makes everybody as good as the worst player. Away games I am fine, those pitches are good. Home awful.
