Goalkeepers

Goalkeepers have been an issue in FM09 as there were no top regen keepers coming through. In FM10, however, there seem to be a lot more talented regen goalies and they are significantly cheaper than outfield players. Did anyone notice that, too? What do you think about it?

I haven't looked properly, but at first glance, there are too many GKs that can barely jump.

There a few Regens who can barely mark :confused:

As for goalkeeper regens, I am yet to see a good one on my game 3 seasons in.

Are you kidding? There are good regen goalkeepers everywhere, naturally there skills may be a little off, but when they're 17 years old, some things always need to be ironed out

I don't know about this year havent even managed one full season yet, setlling in you know, but I never had a problem in 09, regen goalies took a bit longer to develop, but if you were careful they would come on, but the AI could get badly caught out at times.

The problem was that the AI regen goalies would never get a chance until it was too late for them to develop.

I noticed most keepers are bad at the aerial game - leads to lost of goals conceeded.

This guy is in my u23 squad and is the first gk I've ever seen with the wonderkid description.

Nice. Seems like there's hope for people who missed good regen GK's on FM09.
